Your role is pivotal with ensuring the successful execution of voyages, involving tasks such as voyage planning, stowage planning, bunker planning, and considering route options. In addition, monitoring the vessel's performance, analyzing voyage data, optimizing operational efficiency and maintaining high standards of communication with masters, agents, surveyors, including owners, charterers, and internal departments will be key tasks that you will be measured on.
Monitoring operational metrics to identify areas for enhancement and ensuring compliance with international shipping regulations and company policies will also be part of your role. Within a team of operations personnel, you will promote a culture of empowerment and accountability. Additionally, you will manage all post-fixture functions related to voyage and time charter operations, serving as the primary contact person for internal teams and external partners for specific voyages.
Maintaining regular communication with customers, ships, agents, chartering colleagues, as well as Port Operations, and keeping them informed will be crucial in your position. You’ll have the chance to travel and engage with a variety of stakeholders, gaining insights and forging relationships that will be invaluable to your professional development.

We are looking for an experienced candidate with a background of minimum 5 years in the maritime industry, ideally with a focus on dry bulk operations. A background in port logistics and/or seafaring is advantageous as well as proficiency in Maritime Business Software Systems such as IMOS
You will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks seamlessly. Your ability to adapt and respond to dynamic situations will be essential in handling unforeseen challenges that arise during operations; navigating through problem solving and mitigating risks are areas where you will be required to have significant experience. Your responsibilities will include devising and executing strategies to enhance performance and reduce expenses. Collaborating closely with different departments, your focus will be on ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
