Oldendorff Carriers Transshipment Limited LLC is an Oldendorff company based in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E. The principal business of the company is unloading and lightering iron ore offshore in deep water and delivering it to steel mills in the Arabian Gulf. Oldendorff Carriers Transshipment Limited LLC currently operates in the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Qatar. In May of this year, Oldendorff sold Eships to Tristar in Dubai, exiting the tanker business.
The fleet operated by the company includes two 94,000 tdw transloaders, two panamax transloaders, 4 x 13,400 tdw self-unloading and self propelled barges and two tugs. The operations in the Arabian Gulf are very busy, unloading upto 12 mio MT per year.
